Stephen F. Austin defeated Sam Houston State by a final score of 68-49 to win the 2014 Southland Conference Tournament.

Thomas Walkup was named Tournament MVP and was joined on the All-Tournament Team by Desmond Haymon, Jabari Peters, Kaheem Ransom and Jalan West.

Jacob Parker of Stephen F. Austin has been named Southland Player of the Year.

Joining Parker on the All-Southland First Team are Shawn Glover, Johnathan Jordan, LaQuentin Miles and Jalan West.

West was also named Defensive Player of the Year.

On the All-Southland Second Team are Korey Billbury, Ledrick Eackles, Desmond Haymon, DeQuan Hicks and Denzel Livingston.

Zikiteran Woodley received Freshman of the Year honors.
